Michael’s introduction to real estate came when he and his wife Ashleigh purchased their first home in Mount Cotton in 2011 and immediately fell in love with the natural beauty & community spirit that embodies the area. At the time of purchasing their first home Michael was working in sales management supplying industrial equipment to the mining and construction industries specialising in large scale power generation projects.
Having worked in the same field for 10 years with a number of industry leading companies constantly climbing the management ladder, Michael was at the peak of his career but knew that he was missing the passion for the product he was selling and decided a sea change was required and contacted the agent who sold him their first home, Jesse James; to ask him for an opportunity to become a real estate agent to sell something that excited him, whilst also being able to work in & help those in the community that he loved. It was then in 2014 that he started working for Ray White, Redland Bay and his true career began to form.
Michael took to his new career like a duck to water thanks to his extensive experience in sales and negotiation as well as his high levels of energy and enthusiasm, combined with his determination to make sure his clients receive the best service possible.
Michael’s vision early in his career was to become a specialist agent focusing his attention and energy into becoming the go-to agent with in-depth local knowledge of the Southern Redlands; particularly Mount Cotton & Redland Bay and this approach has helped him become the #1 selling agent in Mount Cotton and in less than two years into his real estate career, Michael was awarded with the ‘Ray White Premiere Agents Award’ having helped over 100 families sell & find their new homes in the Redlands.
Michael’s career quickly progressed to the point of requiring an assistant which led to the natural decision for Ashleigh to gradually transition from her full time role as a nurse to assisting Michael in real estate. Ashleigh brings with her a warming touch along with invaluable experiences gained from her background working in administration & sales prior to various fast paced nursing roles.
Together they have quickly proven themselves as a dynamic team with a track record of success and are eagerly awaiting any opportunity to assist home sellers and home buyers looking for top quality service from local area experts.
